What is phpList?
According to their official site, they boast that 75,000 organizations within 35 countries are using PL. PHPlist (PL) is a web application that implements a personalized mailing list manager or customer relationship management (CRM) system. PL is designed to assist you to stay in touch with your audience, without bombarding them with the information they don't want. PL is an essential tool for anyone serious about creating, capturing, and maintaining an offline audience, and will help you increase traffic to your website.
PL is designed to manage a list of subscribers and send email messages to any subscribe size. Its automated features allow subscribers to register, modify personal data and unsubscribe. Subscribing to a list is done through a subscription page, which is customizable by list administrators.
Information gathered by subscribers can be used to target specific messages that meet specific criteria. The subscriber's user interface is available in 35 different languages.
